Zach Bush MD
Zach Bush is a physician specializing in internal medicine, endocrinology and hospice care. He is an internationally recognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease, and food systems.
Dr Zach founded Seraphic Group and the nonprofit Farmer’s Footprint to develop root-cause solutions for human and ecological health. His passion for education reaches across many disciplines, including topics such as the role of soil and water ecosystems in human genomics, immunity, and gut/brain health. His education has highlighted the need for a radical departure from chemical farming and pharmacy, and his ongoing efforts are providing a path for consumers, farmers, and mega-industries to work together for a healthy future for people and planet.
Zach’s own journey epitomizes what it means to go beyond the limits of conventional medicine to rediscover solutions reflected abundantly throughout nature. We are honored to share his presence and wisdom with attendees of this special evening fundraiser.
Human Universal Health
BioLogic 501(c)3 recognizes that healthcare must empower each individual’s ability to navigate their unique journey with clarity and authority. However, creating healthcare models that reflect the power and responsibility of our universal nature is no small task.
Conventional healthcare models have disintegrated many health professionals into incoherent and competing specializations that confuse and discourage us en masse. Furthermore, the industry’s for-profit structure is currently incentivized to perpetuate cycles of disease, and foster co-dependence between patients and care providers.
In order to create harmony and healing, we can take cues from our biology to see that we are indistinguishable from nature. When we recognize ourselves in this light, we can reconnect to our vitality, heal from disease, and support others in doing the same. One by one, we generate a healthier world.
